The UI Designer will design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for Shopify-based websites and applications. They will collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure accurate design implementation and improve existing UI based on user feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually appealing UI for Shopify-based websites and applications
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and usability standards
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design implementation
- Improve existing UI based on user feedback and performance insights
- Maintain consistency across screens, components, and design systems
- Support quick design iterations in an agile environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UI Designer
- Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystem (themes, layouts, limitations)
- Hands-on experience designing e-commerce user interfaces
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Good knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design
- Ability to work independently as a consultant
- Strong communication skills with U.S.-based stakeholders
Key Skills
