Motion Graphic Designer

You will design and animate compelling motion graphics that elevate storytelling across product, campaign, and social content. You will partner with cross-functional teams to concept motion-led creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and animate compelling motion graphics that elevate storytelling across product, campaign, and social content
- Develop 2D animations, micro-interactions, and reusable motion systems for the Dexcom brand
- Partner with cross-functional teams to concept motion-led creative solutions
- Support static design needs as needed, using strong foundational design skills in typography, layout, and composition
- Help lead the creative development and execution of campaigns, product launches, and social-first content
- Stay up to date on social media and design trends, using them to push creativity forward
- Present work clearly and confidently, both in team critiques and stakeholder reviews
Requirements
- 3-5 years of motion design or animation experience in an in-house or agency environment
- Strong 2D animation work portfolio
- Expertise in motion design principles, 2D animation, timing, easing, and dynamic visual storytelling
- Proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of Figma for handoff and simple design tasks
- Strong foundational design skills, including layout, hierarchy, and typography
