The UI Designer will translate UX wireframes and user flows into polished visual interfaces while ensuring consistency with The Guardian’s brand guidelines. They will collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to create assets for web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Translate UX wireframes, user flows, and prototypes into polished visual interfaces
- Create assets for web and mobile platforms
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to implement designs
- Participate in design discussions and provide UI-focused input
- Support testing and iteration by creating visual prototypes
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing digital interfaces
- Strong visual design skills
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries
- Comfortable collaborating with UX Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and responsive design principles
