The Product Designer will work collaboratively with product, development, and other designers to ideate, validate, and implement digital solutions. They will also participate in user research and ensure the quality of the user experience during implementation.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with product, development, and other designers to ideate, validate, and implement solutions
- Design digital experiences considering interaction, usability, accessibility, and consistency with the existing ecosystem
- Participate actively in discovery instances: exploratory research, interviews, benchmarks, and opportunity analysis
- Design journeys, flows, and information architectures, with a comprehensive view of the product and its different points of contact
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, following customer guidelines and proposing improvements when the context allows
- Plan and execute tests with user personas, analyzing metrics and results to iterate on solutions
- Make and defend design decisions based on data, success criteria, and business objectives
- Work with Design Systems, using existing components, proposing new ones, and collaborating on their validation and evolution
- Ensure handoff and follow-up with development, accompanying the implementation to maintain the quality of the experience
- Collaborate with the team in the continuous improvement of the design practice and the exchange of learnings
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI or similar roles
- Experience designing digital products for banking and fintech
- Solid knowledge of usability, user-centered design, and accessibility
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or others)
- Ability to prioritize, estimate effort, and adjust the level of detail according to objectives and context
- Autonomy to organize work and collaborate actively with the team
- Ability to receive feedback and flexibility to change priorities
- Good management of design and prototyping tools (Figma mainly)
