The Senior Graphic Designer will provide graphic design services from concept development to production, including client consultations and project coordination. Responsibilities also include evaluating design concepts, producing creative materials, and maintaining job schedules.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate design concepts and layouts based on knowledge of design and layout principles using publications and purchased materials as necessary
- Interact with clients to determine, develop and refine the advertising and other graphic design pieces to meet their needs and wants, including periodic coordination of projects with other creative service providers
- Use computer graphic software and traditional graphic design to produce creative materials that include brochures, newsletters, logos, catalogues, newspaper and magazine ads, posters, promotional materials, t-shirts, banners, visual displays, digital slideshows and web graphics to ensure quality and brand consistency while meeting production deadlines
- Maintain an archive of your current jobs, photos and graphic images
- Maintain your job schedule, prioritize, and track your job projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design or visual arts
- Two or more years of professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to challenge the status quo while still maintaining the integrity of a brand
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
