The Senior Product Designer will connect customers with insights and tools to mitigate sustainability risks, driving design influence within product teams. Responsibilities include understanding user needs, leading research initiatives, and validating design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Dig deep into understanding user needs and goals
- Develop a strong understanding of product teams' user experiences
- Strive for an intimate understanding of the competitive landscape and suite of products and offerings at Assent
- Drive and lead research initiatives
- Validate and evaluate design decisions
- Plan and administer the appropriate method of usability evaluation
Requirements
- 10+ years of designing applications with a proven track record of experiences across various platforms
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- Impeccable oral and written communication skills in English
- Deep technical background with the ability to quickly understand and articulate interactions in a technical environment
- Demonstrated ability and expertise in UI design and research methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to digest and comprehend complex systems
