Independently lead design initiatives for consumer-facing products and features, owning the design process from discovery to delivery. Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead design initiatives alongside cross-functional partners for consumer-facing products and features
- Own the design process from beginning to end: leading discovery, ideation, research, visual design, build, and QA
- Identify customer needs through quantitative and qualitative research and existing data
- Craft thoughtfully considered solutions to solve customer problems and go after new business opportunities
- Provide feedback to the design team to maintain quality and consistency
- Collaborate closely with partners to ensure designs become a reality
- Help maintain and evolve the design system, Ultraviolet
- Fold AI into the design process to bring ideas to life faster and build prototypes more efficiently
Requirements
- 6+ years experience designing and shipping software for consumer-facing native products
- Demonstrated aptitude for digging in to get things done to make your team successful
- Comfort with ambiguous problems, and motivation to be a self-starter
- Comfort documenting and explaining your process and rationale behind design decisions
- Native mobile app experience and ability to design interactive prototypes
- Experience working with and contributing to a design system
- Experienced Figma user
- Passion for financial products and improving people's financial livelihoods
