The Sr. UI/UX Designer & Developer will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces and experiences, collaborating with product, design, and development teams. This role includes conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and implementing designs using front-end technologies.
Responsibilities
- User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications
- Visual Design: Design visually compelling interfaces that align with the solution design guidelines
- Lead the development and maintenance of our design guidelines
- Front-End Development: Implement designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and interactive user interfaces
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design and development are aligned
- User Testing & Feedback: Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
- Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design, Computer Science, or a related field and equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in designing and development
- A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design and front-end development examples
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Mosaic, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
- Understanding of user-centered design principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
