The Product Designer Co-op will assist in creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes while conducting user research and maintaining design libraries. They will also participate in design reviews and document design decisions and project updates.
Responsibilities
- Work with intermediate and senior designers to assist in the creation of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Help the team conduct user research, including organizing surveys, assisting in usability tests, and documenting findings
- Contribute to maintaining design libraries by organizing assets and ensuring they follow established guidelines
- Attend meetings with cross-functional teams to learn how product design aligns with broader business goals
- Assist in creating or refining small design components under supervision
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience in product design
- Knowledge of UX and UI design principles
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- Willingness to learn and apply design thinking methodologies
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning new tools and methodologies
