Senior UI/UX Designer

The Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing user-centered interfaces for trading technology software, ensuring products are intuitive and efficient. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver user interfaces and experiences for trading applications and platforms
• Conduct user research, prototyping, and usability testing to optimize product usability and performance
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Product Development Managers, Tech Leaders, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Client & Project Managers to ensure consistency and alignment across the product lifecycle
• Ensure accountability, autonomy, and compliance with deadlines in all design tasks
• Contribute to product quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction through user-focused design
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and team spirit in all collaborations
• Provide regular updates and report activities to management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, ideally within financial software, fintech, or trading platforms
• Strong experience in customer journey re-invention, leveraging innovative technics design thinking, customer centric design approach
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex, data-rich applications
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent)
• Practice and development knowledge in web technologies are mandatory: HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3
• Solid understanding of trading workflows, financial markets, and user needs (sell-side experience preferred)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Proven project management skills involving cross-functional stakeholders
• Ability to conduct workshops and gather feedbacks
• Demonstrated creativity, accountability, autonomy, and efficiency
• Strong commitment to client success, customer care, and product quality
• Fluency in English and Italian
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and attention to detail
