Lead and develop the UX team, ensuring effective feedback and growth. Define UX vision and priorities while structuring the team's operational model and ensuring consistency in design.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the UX team, including 1:1 feedback, evolution by seniority, hiring, and cultural development
- Define UX vision, goals, and priorities in conjunction with leadership, focusing on high-impact areas
- Structure the team's operating model, including rituals, governance, quality criteria, and delivery predictability
- Conduct experience decisions at the journey level, articulating trade-offs and aligning stakeholders
- Ensure consistency and scalability with design systems, standards, documentation, and UX QA
- Promote continuous discovery and validation, connecting evidence to roadmap and decision-making
- Monitor experience indicators and support improvement plans with product vision
- Represent UX in executive forums, communicating strategy, risks, and results clearly
Requirements
- Experience leading a design or UX team in a digital product environment
- History of influencing and making decisions in multifunctional environments
- Ability to translate strategy into execution plans, prioritize, and set goals
- Experience with discovery, research, and validation applied to real product journeys
- Mastery of design systems and quality standards to scale consistency
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Portfolio or cases demonstrating impact and leadership
