Lead end-to-end design for high-impact product areas, ensuring user journeys are elegant and measurable. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work and evolve the design system.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for high-impact product areas: discovery, flows, IA, interaction design, visual design, and design QA through launch and iteration
- Translate business goals and user needs into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes
- Plan and run lean research and synthesize insights into JTBD, personas, journey maps, and actionable opportunities
- Prototype across fidelities to de-risk ideas and accelerate alignment with stakeholders and engineers
- Deliver production-ready specifications with responsive behaviors, edge/empty/error/loading states, content guidance, and accessibility notes
- Evolve and maintain Sharebite’s design system in Figma
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA
- Collaborate tightly with Engineering throughout implementation
- Maintain coherence with Brand and Marketing across surfaces
- Manage designers through structured critique, coaching, and documentation
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of end-to-end product design experience shipping web and/or mobile products at scale
- Expert in Figma and rapid prototyping across fidelities
- Strong systems thinking: can design patterns, evolve design systems, and maintain consistency across complex surfaces and states
- Proven ability to partner with PM and Engineering from discovery through delivery
- Data-informed mindset: comfortable defining success metrics, collaborating on instrumentation, and iterating from qualitative and quantitative insights
- Accessibility fluency and commitment to inclusive design practices aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA
- Excellent written and verbal communication—clear specs, crisp documentation, effective async updates, and facilitation of critiques/workshops
