Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will conceptualize, develop, and design original graphic content for the athletics department. This includes managing brand assets and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing, developing, designing, and preparing original, creative graphic design, including page layouts, production and management of brand/campaign assets, photo-manipulation and typography for various promotional materials
- Mentoring student design interns and volunteer student staff
- Working closely with the Associate Director of Athletics (Design, Branding and Special Projects) to ensure all work aligns with conference, NCAA, and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Two years of college-level training in graphic arts, illustration, drafting or closely allied field
- One year of experience as a Graphics Assistant OR equivalent education/experience
- Experience working with NCAA, conference, university and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design with sports or intercollegiate athletics
Key Skills
- Proficiency in design software including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Aftereffects)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
