Senior Graphic Designer

The Senior Graphic Designer will perform creative and graphic design tasks to deliver a range of outputs that effectively convey messages and capture audience attention. They will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring brand compliance and quality assurance while coaching junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Performs creative and graphic design tasks to deliver a range of outputs that effectively convey a message and capture the attention of our intended audiences
• Uses a broad mix of design software and technology to create online and offline designs including: digital layouts, web graphics, video, UX, 3D, proposals and other collateral
• Acts as a brand ambassador for the AECOM brand and its usage
• Reviews the visual layouts of other less experienced team members and has the ability to manage visual challenges and stakeholders
• Creates outstanding branded visual design layouts
• Is highly capable within a specific discipline or area of software and has a wide understanding of the creative process and landscape
• Applies strong creative understanding to inform cross-functional teams to meet and exceed project goals and client needs
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with a strong understanding of client expectation, quality assurance and brand compliance
• Ensures that all creative work meets brand guidelines and standards and able to review work of junior team members to ensure brand compliance and consistency
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
• Able to manage less experienced team members and develop collaborative workflows to meet project deadlines
• Able to collaborate and project manage complex proposals with multiple different outputs to deliver compelling digital and printed media
• Coaches entry level designers

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any four-year course, preferably in Graphic Arts, Design, Communication and other similar courses
• At least three 6-10 years of experience in a corporate environment, outsourcing, shared services, or similar model within Graphic Design function or any other relevant roles and functions
• A portfolio that demonstrates a solid background in print, editorial or brochure design
• Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience using After Effects and Premier or other similar tools and platforms is preferred

• Ability to effectively communicate within a varied audience and internal and external customers using different platforms
