Lead UX Designer

Lead and conduct end-to-end user research and translate findings into user needs and product problems. Design flows, wireframes, and prototypes while collaborating with product management and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct end-to-end user research — interviews, usability studies, field insights, surveys, journey mapping
• Translate research findings into clear user needs, opportunity areas, and prioritised product problems
• Design flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models for product experiences
• Work closely with PM + Eng to shape product requirements and define solutions grounded in user behaviour
• Run usability testing and measure experience outcomes before/after releases
• Collaborate with visual design, content, and engineering to ensure high-quality implementation
• Co-own success metrics for features and continuously refine experiences post-launch

Key Skills

• Strong foundation in interaction design — flows, wireframes, task models, prototyping
• Ability to conduct and synthesise user research independently (interviews, usability studies, surveys, behavioural insights)
• AI-native mindset — uses AI tools naturally for ideation, rapid exploration, synthesis, and creative acceleration
• Fluency with modern design tooling (Figma + AI add-ons, Diagram, research analysis tools, prototyping tools)
• Strong grasp of usability heuristics, accessibility, mental models, and human-centred decision-making
• Comfortable working in ambiguity — can bring structure, clarity, and forward progress without waiting for perfect inputs
• Excellent communication + storytelling — can defend decisions, influence stakeholders, and present research/design clearly
