The UX Designer will create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to enhance player experience. They will collaborate with game designers and UI artists to ensure intuitive interfaces and conduct usability testing to improve designs.
Responsibilities
- Design & Prototype: Create low-to-high fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
- Player-Centric Problem Solving: Translate complex gameplay systems into intuitive and accessible user interfaces
- Collaboration: Work directly with Game Designers and UI Artists to ensure the UX supports the narrative pacing and gameplay loops
Requirements
- Professional experience as a UX Designer within the games industry
- Tool Proficiency: Expertise in standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure
- Engine Knowledge: Familiarity with game engines and how UI/UX is implemented within them
Key Skills
- User-centered design
- Wireframes, prototypes, and application workflows
- Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure
- Game engines such as Unity or Unreal
