The Technical Product Designer creates technical drawings and designs fixtures and tools based on production requirements. They ensure the accuracy of drawings and manage documentation for usability in production.
Responsibilities
- Creates technical drawings according to established norms, economic design and manufacturing capability and does necessary calculations
- Designs fixtures and tools as required by production on given information incl. all required cost calculations
- Ensures traceability of changes in drawings
- Checks drawings and sketches for mistakes and inconsistencies
- Manages the documentation of toolings to ensure usability in production
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
- Specified Years of Industry-relevant professional experience
- Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
- Professional-Level English language skills preferred
