Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will define design requirements based on research and analytics, ensuring alignment across the product development lifecycle. They will create product experiences through usability testing and collaboration, delivering high-quality designs and maintaining design consistency.

Responsibilities

• Impact on the entire UX Process: Define design requirements based on research, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring alignment across the product development lifecycle;
• Create world-class product experiences: Conduct usability testing and collaborate with internal teams and end-users to validate and iterate designs; deliver flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interfaces that are clearly documented and communicated;
• Master UI design: Build, maintain, and evolve scalable UI patterns and components in Figma, contributing to the governance of the Design System and ensuring consistency across brands and platforms;
• Build inclusive products: Apply HCI, usability, and accessibility (WCAG) best practices, following Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, and responsive design principles;
• Collaborate with local and central teams: Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and designers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle;
• Advocate for design quality and consistency by conducting UI/UX QA reviews and ensuring implementation matches the design intent;
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing clear documentation, specifications, and rationale for design decisions;
• Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and design practices to continuously raise the bar for product quality;
• Mentor junior designers, sharing knowledge on Figma mastery, design craft, accessibility, and Design System adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or related fields;
• 7+ years of proven experience as a Product Designer, with strong focus on UI and visual design;
• Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping, and advanced libraries;
• Ability to interpret research data and usage metrics to inform design decisions.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences and different organizational levels;
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.

Key Skills
