The Senior UX Researcher will lead comprehensive UX research initiatives and integrate user insights into product strategy. They will also oversee ResearchOps and advocate for UX research excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Comprehensive UX Research Initiatives: Take ownership of end-to-end UX research initiatives, guiding them from conceptualization to successful execution, seamlessly integrating user insights into our overarching product strategy.
  • Demonstrate Analytical Excellence: Exhibit exceptional analytical prowess by consistently enhancing research methodologies and translating intricate data into actionable, strategic insights.
  • ResearchOps Oversight and Standardization: Direct ResearchOps initiatives and champion the standardization of research practices across the organization to enhance efficiency, consistency, and data quality.
  • User Research Documentation: Create thorough documentation of research methodologies, findings, and recommendations, making them readily accessible to team members for reference and informed decision-making.
  • Experimentation Project Leadership: Strategically plan and execute experimentation projects, encompassing A/B tests, Multivariate Testing (MVT), and innovative Fake Door experiments, all aimed at enriching our product offerings.
  • Mentorship and Talent Cultivation: Enhance research standards throughout the organization by providing mentorship and fostering the growth of emerging talent within the field of UX research.
  • Advocate for UX Research Excellence: Evangelize the significance of UX research and a data-driven approach at every stage of product development, nurturing a culture that prioritizes user-centric decision-making.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of dedicated experience in UX research with a portfolio of impactful projects preferably within ecommerce space.
  • 2+ years in the retail/e-Commerce business or closely related industry

Key Skills

  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent mentoring and leadership qualities.
  • Sound knowledge of e-Commerce ecosystem and online customer experience journey
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills, and leadership
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading and Writing) with exceptional business writing, Arabic is a plus
