Principal Product Designer, Platform

Create and maintain design systems to enable multiple design teams to deliver AI-powered experiences. Collaborate with product leaders to manage the product development process and ensure user experience quality.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain the design systems that will enable multiple design teams to ship world-class AI-powered experiences that delight consumers
• Stay aware of new technological innovations within front-end development, design systems, and AI
• Collaborate with other product leaders to manage the end-to-end product development process and maintain accountability for user experience quality
• Exhibit cross-functional communication and dependency management, scoping and scheduling
• Continually raise the bar for excellence and product quality; drive accountability for these standards

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design
• OR equivalent experience
• A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate experience designing world class consumer products from vision through launch
• Extensive experience designing, implementing and maintaining robust Design Systems for a portfolio of products
