ECS is seeking a UX Designer to work in our Dayton, OH office on the Air Force Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) project.
Responsibilities
- Product Backlog Management: Work with the Product Owner to develop and prioritize user stories
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Agile Development Processes: Use Agile methodologies for iterative delivery
- User Manuals and Help Screens: Maintain and update User Manuals and Help Screens
- Testing Processes: Implement an automated testing framework
- Align Agile acceptance criteria and sprint review processes with performance measures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area
- Active Secret (or higher) security clearance
- Expertise in designing user interfaces and experiences
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
- Ability to manage complex tasks with creativity and innovation
- Strong understanding of systems engineering and documentation
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
