The graphic designer will work on online and print ad design and editorial page layout. They must demonstrate speed, accuracy, and thrive under deadline pressure.
Responsibilities
- Design opportunities include online and print ad design and editorial page layout.
- Applicant must be fluent in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Newspaper or previous experience in publishing or advertising is preferred.
Requirements
- Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
- Strong proofreading and copy editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet daily deadlines.
- Understanding of brand consistency and visual standards across print and digital platforms.

Benefits
- Approximately 15 hours per week, Tues.-Thurs. during regular business hours.

The company was founded in 1979 and became a nonprofit January 1, 2024.
