UI/UX Designer, Image Guided Therapy Devices (Plymouth, MN)

Philips is seeking a UI/UX Designer to create and define medical device product concepts for products used to diagnose and treat a variety of vascular diseases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the voice of user experience design, ensuring that workflow and human factors elements are included in the design of medical devices and software
• Work closely with other designers, engineers, and software architects to identify opportunities and constraints of technology and platform choices

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in UX Design with a proven track record of products making it to market
• Prior medical device and software design is highly desired
• Experience understanding and translating user needs into software and on-device interface concepts is a must-have

Key Skills

• Advanced competency in digital tools for concept communication - Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
• Understanding of design sprint methodology (ability to facilitate is highly desired)
• Ability to prototype concepts for user interactions using Figma and Framer
