The Senior UX Designer will facilitate and define product requirements while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions. They will also drive design exercises and help shape product roadmaps to enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and define product requirements, and technical feasibility
- Pull insights, guide product stakeholders into design exercises and activities to shape and prioritize user stories ahead of designing solutions
- Recognize risks and effectively communicate and escalate issues that may impact the customer experience, then help to arrive at solutions that are acceptable to cross-functional stakeholders
- Generate design documents that succinctly communicate recommendations, limitations, trade-offs and product direction
- Inform and shape product roadmaps, business goals, objectives and metrics that all add customer value
Requirements
- 7+ years of design experience
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature
- Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy, shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change
- Experience in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
