The core responsibilities include improving the machine design process and delivering designs based on project specifications. The role also involves documenting designs and decisions clearly and assisting the shop with turbo expander-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Improve the process of machine design
- Deliver the design based on the reequipments of the development project master specification
- Prepare specifications for the buyout components, such as housings, gear box, mechanical seals and other core unit components
- Maintain up to date documentation on all responsible projects
- Assist shop in issues related of turbo expanders
Requirements
- Experience with Solid Works and GD&T
- At least five years of design engineering experience
- Ability to review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
