A freelance UX/UI Designer is needed to help craft intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling experiences for fantasy sports enthusiasts. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with fantasy sports, sports betting, or related gaming products.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for web and/or mobile fantasy sports and betting-related features
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs that are clear, consistent, and optimized for engagement and conversion
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements and data into intuitive designs
- Apply design patterns and best practices specific to fantasy sports, sports betting, and real-time data experiences
- Use user feedback, analytics, and A/B testing results to iterate and improve designs
- Maintain and contribute to a cohesive design system, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across experiences
Requirements
- At least 3-5+ years of experience in UX/UI, Product Design, or a related role working on consumer-facing digital products
- Portfolio that showcases strong UX thinking, interaction design, and visual design for complex, data-rich or real-time products
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present work and articulate design decisions clearly
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role working on consumer-facing digital products
- Direct experience with fantasy sports, sports betting, or gaming platforms is strongly preferred
- Ability to "talk the talk" of fantasy sports and betting: comfortable with concepts like lineups, ADP, line movement, spreads/totals, live odds, and user engagement loops
