As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape user engagement with PitchBook's platform, focusing on ongoing customer interactions and experiences. You will define product experience strategies and design engagement tools that enhance usability and drive long-term customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize user-centered design and systems thinking skills to create solutions for complex data and user workflow challenges
  • Conduct user research and data analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivators
  • Partner with product management and engineering team members to understand customers and markets
  • Develop customer journey maps, task and user flows, and design concepts to inform product strategies
  • Translate abstract concepts into simple, elegant, and innovative designs
  • Drive product experience innovation, leveraging traditional and emerging technologies, including ML/AI capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Human Centered Design, Psychology or equivalent
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a Product Design/UX role
  • Expert-level knowledge of user-centered design practices
  • A portfolio of past work, including concepts, ideation, flows, and completed designs
  • Strong demonstration of strategic thinking, business acumen, use of modern design best practices
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
