The Product Designer I will execute well-defined design tasks under the guidance of senior designers and create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for features and improvements. They will also conduct basic usability testing and collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Responsibilities
- Execute well-defined design tasks under guidance from senior designers
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for features and improvements
- Conduct basic usability testing and incorporate feedback into designs
- Maintain and contribute to our design system components
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Participate in design critiques and team brainstorming sessions
- Document design decisions and maintain organized design files
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-4 years of product design experience
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles
- Ability to learn quickly and apply feedback constructively
- Interest in understanding complex business domains and user workflows
- Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback constructively
- Portfolio demonstrating design process and problem-solving skills
