Senior UI/UX Designer

Fortinet is seeking an Intermediate UX/UI Designer to join their Product Management team, responsible for improving the user experience of Fortinet applications and creating mock-ups and graphics for various product design items.

Responsibilities

• Ability to create designs of various fidelity from highly polished design prototypes, mockups, and other communication artifacts
• Work closely and constructively with product management, visual designers, and engineers to iterate and deliver flawlessly
• Find new ways to improve product usability
• Monitor and respond to application feedback and feature requests
• Develop expert-level knowledge of both Fortinet and competitor products, and leverage that to simplify application design

Requirements

• Interest in or hands-on Computer Networks & Cyber Security
• Resume must include a link to an impressive portfolio
• 3 - 5 years of UX/UI design experience, ideally with a few years of platform experience
• Be creative, analytical, and curious in resolving complex UI issues
• Deep understanding of the principles of UX and visual design, as well as standard design tools
• Extensive experience in utilizing user-centered design process, as well as conducting user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and accessibility concerns
