Lenovo is seeking a Lead Human AI Experience Designer to join their award-winning Design + Innovation Team, working on consumer-centric and groundbreaking design strategy and solutions for their Intelligent Device Group business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct desk research and be able to go both vertically and horizontally into the given opportunity area
- Work with the internal Design User Research team to design based on research-led user pain points and insights
- Lead ideation and concept-gen process independently and create disruptive, user-centric Human AI experiences with both internal and cross-functional teams
- Develop experience framework that can be scalable and executable across products across different lines of business
- Create experience prototype to demonstrate the desired design and experience; test/validate by partnering with the internal User Research team
- Independently navigate, communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders/cross-functional teams, to drive strategic design alignment, build trust and credibility
- Proactively and effectively manage tasks and resources within budget and schedule
- Enforce and leverage repeatable design process, design tools and documentation to be efficient and effective
- Mentor, support, and inspire younger designers
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in the consumer electronics industry or equivalent
- Proven record in working on systematic and ecosystem-level user experience
- Expert knowledge of UX/UI design process, SW Agile dev process and SW product development experiences
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work and design skills is required for consideration
