Lead the design for core product areas, focusing on user journeys and translating complex fintech logic into intuitive experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive discovery, strategy, and design excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for core product areas, shaping user journeys across onboarding, engagement, decision-making, and financial access experiences
- Translate complex fintech logic into intuitive, accessible experiences
- Design for mobile-first experience
- Designing for internal web-based tools is a plus
- Partner with Product, Data, Engineering and Research to frame the right problems, validate hypotheses, and shape the roadmap
- Conduct and synthesize user research, A/B tests, and behavioral insights to drive decisions
- Explore divergent ideas quickly through low-fi prototypes, then refine into high-fidelity UI
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Growth, Risk, and Marketing teams from ideation to ship
- Build alignment and advocate for design excellence within your squad and across the company
- Communicate design rationale with clarity and confidence from product reviews to C-level presentations
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience designing digital products, ideally in fintech, marketplaces, or high-growth B2C apps
- A strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, user flows, and UI polish for mobile apps
- Experience designing in cross-functional squads with PMs, engineers, and researchers
- Solid command of Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems
- Deep empathy for users across different income levels, literacy backgrounds, and tech savviness
- Ability to distill complex financial concepts into simple, confident UX
- Fluency in behavioral design, UX best practices, and accessibility principles
