Senior Product Designer needed for a contract position in London, focusing on ecommerce/retail experience with strong B2C/D2C experience and a balance of UX/UI and visual design skills.
Responsibilities
- Designing end-to-end
- Taking part in discovery through to delivery from early concepts and wireframes to polished UI and tested solutions
- Turning insights and data into clear, engaging, and usable experiences
- Confidently presenting ideas, decisions, and design direction to teams and stakeholders
- Craft & quality: Creating high-quality interfaces with strong attention to detail
- Collaboration & influence: Working hand-in-hand with product, engineering, research, and content
- Strategic thinking: Looking beyond the obvious to uncover real user needs
Requirements
- 5+ years in product design within digital environments
- A strong portfolio showing user-centred thinking, excellent UI, and real-world impact
- Ecommerce/Retail experience - Essential
- Strong B2C/D2C experience - Essential
- Even balance of UX/UI with strong Visual Design skills
Key Skills
- Strong UX/UI design skills
- Excellent visual design skills
- Experience with Figma
- Experience with prototyping and smooth handoff to engineering
- Familiarity with usability testing and research synthesis
