Senior UX Writer

This is a 12-month, full-time, hybrid/on-site contract role for a Senior UX Writer to shape clear, intuitive, and impactful user experiences through language. The role requires 8+ years of experience in UX writing or user experience design and a passion for crafting user-centered digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine UX copy across the entire user journey, from onboarding to feature education and error handling
• Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, producers, and fellow writers to develop messaging strategies, feature naming, and in-product education
• Write from scratch, edit existing content, map edge cases and errors, and ensure consistency across services
• Collaborate closely with QA, legal, and localization teams to ensure content scales globally and appears accurately for all audiences

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in UX writing or user experience design
• Passion for crafting user-centered digital experiences with a strong foundation in content strategy and interface writing
• Proficient in UX writing for apps, including onboarding, feature development, settings, and feature education
• Familiar with working within established design systems and content patterns while developing nuanced solutions
• Skilled in collaborating with design, product, engineering, marketing, localization, legal, and QA teams
• Able to work independently while managing multiple projects and competing priorities
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience simplifying complex systems into clear, compelling interface copy
