The Product Designer will lead human-centered design efforts on a mission-critical government program, shaping end-to-end product experiences for operational users. This role involves translating complex workflows into intuitive solutions and collaborating closely with engineering and product leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead human-centered design practices across discovery, strategy, and delivery
- Conduct and synthesize user research (interviews, workshops, workflow analysis)
- Translate user needs, technical constraints, and mission goals into clear product design solutions
- Design and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for complex systems
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Program Leadership to ensure feasibility and delivery
Requirements
- 6+ years of Product Design or UX Design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human factors, related field or equivalent work experience
Key Skills
- 6+ years of experience in product design, UX, or human-centered design
- Proven experience designing complex or enterprise software products
- Strong foundation in user research, interaction design, and information architecture
