As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead design efforts across web and mobile platforms, conducting user research and collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers. You will also mentor other designers and advocate for best practices in design.
Responsibilities
- Design and re-design Talent experiences, shaping how organizations attract, grow, and retain people through Dayforce’s unified, AI-powered platform
- Conduct user research to understand needs and behaviors, and run usability tests to validate solutions
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to plan roadmaps, gather requirements, and define design priorities
- Lead and inspire other designers, offering guidance, critique, and mentorship to help elevate the overall design practice
- Present work and articulate design rationale to executives and key stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience as a Product designer
- Proven experience shipping successful web and mobile products
- Comfortable being self-directed—able to take ownership without constant oversight
- Deep familiarity with user-centered and human-centered design approaches
Key Skills
- Expert in Figma as a design tool, and familiar with project workflows in Jira and Confluence
- Of the following skills, Expert in one, Advanced in two, and Proficient in two: Interaction Design, Visual Design, Information Architecture, UX Writing, Conducting User Research, Research Insights and Analysis, Front-end Development
