Product Designer

Product Designer at 8am, responsible for shaping how legal, accounting, and other professional firms manage and grow their businesses through intuitive, trustworthy, and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate Impact and Drive Growth: Translate business and product objectives into user-centered solutions
- Design and iterate on features, including those powered by AI or automation
- Optimize user journeys to help customers discover, adopt, and gain value from key product capabilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Champion the User: Develop a strong understanding of user goals, workflows, and pain points
- Design with Craft and Systems Thinking: Create thoughtful design deliverables across the product lifecycle
- Operate with Initiative and Influence: Take ownership of problem spaces and proactively identify opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 to 5 years of product or UX design experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing craft, process, and impact across product flows
- Experience designing for complex or data-heavy workflows; fintech experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence product-led growth outcomes
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
- High proficiency in Figma and familiarity with common research and testing methods
