United Airlines is seeking a Senior Designer – UX to lead the craft of interaction design, elevate the quality of digital experiences, and contribute to the design system. The ideal candidate is empathetic, curious, and craft-driven, exceling at problem-solving and delivering thoughtful design work.
Responsibilities
- Craft intuitive, usable, and visually excellent interactions
- Design inclusive, cohesive omnichannel experiences
- Define interaction and motion patterns
- Prototype to explore, communicate, and validate
- Elevate product quality through cross-functional collaboration
- Contribute to the design system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design
- Portfolio with case studies showing process, decisions, and business or customer impact
- Abreast of emerging UI trends, tools, and technologies
- Proficiency using digital design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
- Experience applying WCAG accessibility standards to designs
- Proven effectiveness in working as a member in cross-functional teams
