Graphic Designer

Famous Footwear is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their dynamic and thriving footwear company, where you'll have the opportunity to make an impact and shape the future of their renowned brands.

Responsibilities

• Develop design for digital and print: Support projects ranging from email marketing, website design, social media, video assets, gif animation, direct mail, in-store signage, trade show support and events, etc.
• Create impactful work: Remain thoughtful and relevant to the overall brand strategy aesthetic
• Review projects with internal teams: Coordinate with creative director and design manager to ensure design and photography needs are clear and executed at the highest level
• Stay informed on market trends: Continually research and understand brand competitive environment
• Participate in strategy meetings: Prepare any brand-needed materials
• Partner with creative teams: Collaborate on styling/wardrobe, brand identity design, and in house/offsite art direction

Requirements

• Portfolio requested upon application
• BA in Commercial Art or any other related Art Degree
• 2+ years’ experience at an Advertising Agency preferred
• Must be able to clearly communicate strategic intent and creative thoughts internally/externally
• Ability to problem solve by identifying issues and finding alternative solutions
• Strong understanding of typography and composition
• Thorough understanding of the creative process
• Ability to prioritize projects and manage deadlines
• Mac platform, Adobe Creative Suite 5 or above (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, Web/interactive experience
