UX DESIGNER - Claims Assist

The UX Designer will conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions for a claims management platform. They will create wireframes and prototypes, ensuring designs meet accessibility standards and align with user needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability testing with claims professionals and end-users
  • Analyse workflows and pain points in the claims lifecycle to inform design decisions
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile interfaces
  • Ensure designs align with accessibility standards and responsive design principles
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into user-centric solutions
  • Advocate for UX best practices within agile development teams
  • Organize complex claims data and processes into clear, navigable structures
  • Design dashboards, workflows, and forms that optimize efficiency and reduce errors
  • Plan and execute usability tests to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback and analytics
  • Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system for the claims platform
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in insurance, fintech, or enterprise platforms
  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Strong understanding of claims processes and complex workflows
  • Experience with user research methods and usability testing
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
  • Familiarity with agile development and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
