As a UX Designer, you will collaborate with agile scrum teams to enhance internal product experiences and translate business objectives into user-centered design solutions. You will conduct user research and advocate for usability within a complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with agile scrum teams to help drive innovation and enhance internal product experiences
- Translate business objectives and technical capabilities into user-centered design solutions
- Create conceptual sketches, detailed design specifications, and high-fidelity deliverables
- Participate in all phases of the design process: conceptual design, storyboards, persona and scenario development, user flows, interaction diagrams, information hierarchy, wireframes, and prototypes
- Plan and conduct user research activitiesâsuch as usability testing, interviews, or surveysâand translate insights into design recommendations
- Work closely with product owners, engineers, and cross-functional team members throughout the lifecycle, seeking feedback early and often to refine designs and align solutions to business and technical realities
- Present design work, rationale, and status updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX design
- Experience supporting Agile teams within an enterprise or complex environment
- Demonstrated capability in UX design and user research; familiarity with prototyping and/or content design is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present design work, rationale, and status updates to stakeholders
- Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to translate moderately complex concepts into user flows, scenarios, and diagrams
- Proven experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of design system components, patterns, and principles; experience consuming or contributing to a design system is preferred
- Ability to make thoughtful, user-centered design decisions and iterate as requirements evolve
- Portfolio including relevant UX/UI projects and case studies
