The role involves guiding SoCs from concept through design execution and post-silicon, collaborating with various teams to ensure power feature realization. Responsibilities include workload analysis, power modeling, and leading initiatives for power reduction and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external strategic partners, customers and industry standards to define AMD power roadmap and competitive targets
- Lead team in modeling complex power use case scenarios across SoC roadmap
- Create innovative power reduction initiatives and methodologies and drive cross-organization alignment with SoC and IP teams for implementation towards power convergence
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with power integrity/signal integrity analysis, droop management/mitigation and capacitor types and performance
Key Skills
- C/C++ programming, automation & scripting languages, Excel, and software engineering concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
