The Senior UX Designer will collaborate with the design team to localize digital designs for Arabic users. This includes ensuring that design elements resonate culturally and linguistically with the target audience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the design team to understand the intent and functionality of digital designs created in Figma
- Localize design elements and layouts for the Arabic language and cultural context
- Ensure translated text maintains its original meaning while adhering to best practices for readability and clarity in Arabic
- Identify and address any visual or structural elements that might not translate well for Arabic users
- Maintain a consistent and culturally appropriate voice across all localized materials
- Perform quality assurance checks on localized designs to guarantee accuracy and user-friendliness
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in Arabic digital design
Requirements
- Native or fluent Arabic speaker with a strong understanding of regional dialects
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital design localization, ideally with a focus on Arabic markets
- Proven ability to translate complex design elements while preserving the original intent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Familiarity with design software like Figma or similar tools is a plus
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating culturally relevant digital experiences
