The Product Designer will contribute to the product and design strategy for Wordsmith’s platform, owning the end-to-end user journey from research to shipping. They will design intuitive experiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the overall direction and decision making for product and design strategy for Wordsmith’s platform
- Owning the end-to-end user journey: from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and shipping
- Designing intuitive web and mobile experiences that simplify complex workflows
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional peers to execute the roadmap
- Bringing clarity to ambiguous problem spaces through strong product thinking and design craft
- Participating in design critiques - both giving and receiving feedback to sharpen the work
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Design experience
- Strong product thinking skills
- Proven track record of shipping successful products as part of a cross-functional product team
- Mastery of visual design, interaction design, and prototyping (Figma fluency is a must)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Collaborative, low ego, and open-minded
