You will be the first dedicated designer on the Business Systems team, defining user experience for internal tools. Your role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to streamline processes and improve workflows.
Responsibilities
- Define what user experience means for Phorest's internal tools
- Work closely with the Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and Technical Business Analyst to define roadmaps, requirements, and solutions
- Build, iterate on, and ship ideas
- Solve a key area for improvement at Phorest in 2026 by collaborating with a Senior team of smart, caring individuals
- Create design workflows that need to work for teams in North America, Europe, and Australia, navigating regional nuances to create cohesive solutions
- Bring clarity to complexity by taking complex, sometimes undocumented processes and mapping them out
- Design solutions for systems that are heavily interdependent from the initial discovery phase to shipping and iterating on feedback
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in product design (UX/UI), ideally within the B2B internal tooling space
- System Thinker with experience mapping out complex workflows and figuring out how different pieces of a system fit together
- Well-defined process that consistently leads to successful solutions
- Experience collaborating with senior leadership and key business stakeholders
- Ability to clearly explain the logic behind design decisions to engineers and stakeholders
- Fluent English is essential
