The UI Designer will build, scale, and sustain a world-class design system while balancing detailed UI craftsmanship with broader system-level strategy. They will design polished UI and interaction patterns tailored to the healthcare industry and solve complex systems-architecture challenges.
Responsibilities
- Building, scaling, and sustaining a world-class design system in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Balancing detailed UI craftsmanship with broader system-level strategy
- Designing polished UI and interaction patterns tailored to the healthcare industry
- Maintaining a communicative, team-oriented design system practice
- Solving complex systems-architecture challenges through deep, thoughtful design thinking
Requirements
- 3+ years in product design, including 2+ years contributing directly to a scaled design system
- Exceptional UI and interaction design craft
- Strong proficiency in Figma, especially component-building tools
- Familiarity with front-end concepts (React, HTML/CSS, iOS, Android) and how design systems map into code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
- Passion for design craft, systems thinking, and enabling teammates to do their best work
