Senior UX Designer – Insurance Platforms

Corix, a Hiscox Company, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the design of user experiences for insurance technology workflows. The role involves creating intuitive, scalable, and component-driven design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design across end-to-end insurance workflows
• Deliver new product experiences while continuously refining and optimizing existing workflows
• Own UX design for insurance product configuration projects
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Technical Engineering Leads, and business stakeholders
• Facilitate design workshops, discovery sessions and interviews, and usability reviews

Requirements

• 3-7 years experience as a UX or Product Designer
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design
• Experience building, scaling, and maintaining design systems and component libraries
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex, multi-step workflows into clear, simple, and intuitive user experiences

Key Skills

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
• Familiarity with component-driven design practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
