The Visual Product Designer will be responsible for handing off designs to engineering within the first week and collaborating with product and engineering teams throughout projects. They will also navigate user flows for new features and build up the design system.

Responsibilities

  • Within your first 7 days, hand off designs to engineering
  • Dig into and understand customer problems/feedback
  • Collaborate with product and engineering throughout a project
  • Navigate both the problem and solution space with cofounders and peers
  • Communicate differing opinions and make/facilitate constructive decisions
  • Think through the broad user flows for new features
  • Generate high fidelity mocks and think through UI/UX
  • Build up the design system alongside Wendy, Ben, and Oliver and engineering partners
  • Validate design choices with analytics

Requirements

  • Located in (or will relocate to) San Francisco and excited about working in-person
  • Very organized and hard working and fast
  • An interest in tinkering with the product and suggesting improvements
