Lead design and UX strategy for Nextdoor’s core product experience, focusing on the feed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and UX strategy for Nextdoor's core product experience: the feed
  • Use qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions
  • Develop and refine user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Advocate for a user-first approach
  • Mentor and guide other designers
  • Contribute to and evolve design systems

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or a related field
  • Deep expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems
