Staff Product Designer, Design Systems

Co-lead the evolution of Docker’s design system, including component libraries and visual language modernization. Collaborate with engineering to ensure high-quality and efficient design system delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Future of the Docker Design System
• Co-lead the next evolution of Docker’s design system
• Modernize Docker’s visual language and help launch a fresh, future-ready aesthetic across products
• Define a Multi-Surface System
• Elevate Visual Craft & Interaction Quality
• Own the visual refresh of Docker’s product experience
• Collaborate with designers, offering meaningful critique and assistance to level up design cross-org

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience
• Deep exposure to design systems at scale
• Strong interaction & visual design craft
• Familiar with tokens, pipelines, and modern DS tooling (Figma, Storybook, Chromatic)
• Some front-end knowledge
