Senior Android Product Designer, Search

As a Senior Android Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of search journeys on the Android platform, focusing on improving user discovery and engagement. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to define product requirements and design strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own the design strategy and execution for your domain with minimal supervision
• Mentorship: Provide thoughtful mentorship and guidance to other designers, elevating the overall quality of the team's work
• Elevate the Craft: Be a key contributor to the design team's culture, process, and tooling, continually seeking ways to improve quality and efficiency
• Influence: Leverage strong soft skills—listening, negotiating, and clear articulation—to align diverse stakeholders toward the best customer outcomes

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience working in product design, with a focus on mobile platforms (Android required)
• Demonstrated experience designing high-volume, complex user flows in areas such as Search, Discovery, or Commerce/Marketplace experiences
• Expert proficiency designing for the Android ecosystem, including an in-depth understanding of Material Design, platform capabilities, and common interaction patterns
• A strong portfolio that showcases highly developed design skills, including end-to-end flows, high-polish prototypes, and the successful application of a design system
• Proven track record of partnering effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and define opportunities, and implementing those ideas with positive results
• Business-level fluency in English (written and verbal) is required for cross-team collaboration
